Linda Formichelli’s E-Course News
I have two bits of news about my 8-week e-course on getting published in magazines:
1. Thanks to the wonders of automation, you can now sign up for an take my course at any time instead of waiting for me to announce a start date. Before, I would hold four to six course sessions per year because they required me to send out weekly e-mails to all my students. If I had let students take the course at any time they liked, I would have been sending out lesson e-mails every day of the week! It was just easier to get a group of students all starting on the same day.
Thanks to the wonders of automation, that’s all changed now. I signed up for an autoresponder service, so all I have to do is add your e-mail address to the system and you’ll automatically get your first lesson right away and one lesson every seven days after that for the following eight weeks. I still offer full e-mail support in the Premium version of the course, or you can sign up for the (cheaper) Basic version with no e-mail support. So — no more missing the start date, or having to wait months for the next session if you can’t sign up for the current session! If you’re interested in breaking into magazines or making more money as a writer, sign up now!
2. Meg Weaver of Wooden Horse Publishing is offering my past and present students a one-week free trial of her Magazines Database. The database is a directory of more than 2,000 magazines, complete with their addresses and phone numbers, writer’s guidelines, editorial calendars (if they have them), and more. There are no strings attached; if you decide not to sign up for the database once the trial is over, Meg will simply remove your name from the system. When you sign up for my e-course, I’ll e-mail you details on how to sign up for your free trial. [lf]
