E-Course News: The Old Ways Are Best

In January, I announced that I was experimenting with a new way to run my eight-week e-course on getting published in magazines: instead of announcing a set start date, I would allow students to sign up and take the course any time they liked (thanks to the wonders of my new autoresponder).

Well, I’m going back to the old way of running the e-course, with set start dates. I find I’m not liking this new way of doing the course…I get fewer students because they don’t have that “fire under the butt” of a deadline for registering, and I also don’t like having different students working on different parts of the course at the same time. It’s too confusing for my little brain! So I’ll be starting my next e-course session on Monday, April 16, 2007.

Students of my e-course have landed assignments from Writer’s Digest, MyBusiness, Woman’s Day, Pizza Today, Michigan Out-of-Doors, USA Today, HotJobs, ATA World, For Me, SpeciaLiving, and more.

Space is limited! Everything must go! Act now! Discontinue the course if you experience nausea, swelling, projectile vomiting, jazz hands, or loss of eye. [lf]
