Instead of the doldrums, I'm using February to give away Freebies all month to my blog readership, because my birthday is in Feb. A typically bummer month in the dead of winter, is now filled with excitement day after day coming up with new gifts (everything from the silly to the interest and useful) and ideas for entry submissions. There are plenty of creative ideas to be had, and they can lead to new stories and jobs. Great article. Winter can be a slow time…but the trees dream in winter, right? I agree, I love pro-active ideas that get my brain working instead of slumping. I keep anticipating/hoping for a little break, and I do think one is approaching so I'm looking forward to taking some downtime to actually plan out some ideas, and actively seek out some new ones.
