The Sneaky Way to E-mail an Editor

If you want to e-mail a magazine editor but don’t have her address, don’t fret — I’ve compiled the e-mail formats of some of the bigger publishing companies. Of course, there are always variations, such as when an editor has a hyphenated last name…but this list will still help in many cases. You can find more in the Renegade Writer Markets Wiki under each entry.

Thanks for the list. Companies do have strange email structures that is for sure. The worst part is that emails include both the first and last name and some email adresses are really long!

  4. This article is so helpful, even several years later! The Cosmo structure is: FirstInitialLastname@hearst.com
