Stuck for story ideas?
This Monday I’ll start offering my 3-week “Develop Story Ideas That Sell” workshop. I’ve priced it at an affordable $99 since I know times are tough for a lot of us writers. I’m confident that by using the story-idea generating techniques you’ll learn in this workshop, you’ll go on to recoup this investment many times over. (In fact, my ideas have gotten a little stale over the last few months so I’m going to be taking my own workshop starting this Monday!)
I shared these techniques with a writing colleague, Sandra Hume, who gave me this great testimonial: “When I felt like I had nothing new to offer editors, Diana’s suggestions for idea generation kept me going for months. I broke into one of my dream markets — on the first try — and I’m still mining that idea list today.”
Who will benefit most from this workshop? If you’ve always been one of those writers who’ve found it tough to come up with story ideas, you’ll benefit. If you’re a new to freelancing, you’ll benefit, because I’ll show you that even new writers have something to say — and sell. If you’ve always depended on editors to give you ideas, you might want to consider this workshop because now more and more editors are looking to freelancers to that idea-generating work. Or if you’re simply feeling bored with the stories you’ve been pitching, this workshop can help you with some new ways of seeing the world.
If you can’t start the workshop this Monday, I’ll be offering it again starting November 3 before taking a break for the holidays. Read the FAQ here. [db]

I’d love to take the class, but I am living with the help of public assistance now. Any possibility you guys will ever run a contest or scholarship? I do love your blog as much as your book and will keep gaining valuable tips here!
