As a corporate writer who now also runs web writing training courses I can endorse everything Bob says. Though sadly I don't quite earn $600,000 a year. My own tip would be to make sure, before you write a word, that you have a clearly defined brief from your client and you are confident that you understand it. My other piece of advice for anyone looking to venture into the world of freelance writing would be to get Bob's book but also, of course, before they do anything else to invest in a copy of The Renegade Writer by Linda Formichelli and Diana Burrell.
