Which Productivity Book is Best for Freelancers?

If you’re a productivity geek like me, you’ll love this article by Chris Hardwick on Wired.com. Hardwick test-drives three productivity books for two weeks each: Getting Things Done, Never Check E-mail in the Morning, and The 4-Hour Workweek. He concludes that The 4-Hour Workweek works best for freelancers. The article is interesting, useful — and funny! [lf]

Thanks for sharing b/c I needed some chuckles to start my day! I’ve read GTD & implemented some of it into my life. I’ve heard tons about 4 Hour WW, but haven’t managed to get my hands on it yet. That’s probably because I’m not outsourcing enough or I spend too much time checking e-mail in the morning. ;)

I read it last week and laughed because it was funny (and interesting) and because I remember him from MTV’s “Singled Out” with Jenny McCarthy.

I think he’s got the right idea about picking and choosing.

Hysterical, well written prose. Timelly too, I’ve just finished 4-Hour Work Week (reading it, that is – haven’t implmented it yet). It’s a bit draconic for most tastes but I think the key with Tim is making his ideas work for you.
