First Free Teleclass for Writers Scheduled
Okay, I just set up my first free monthly teleclass! Here are the details:
Date: Tuesday, October 13 at 8:30-9:30 pm ET.
Topic: Querying with Confidence. Do you have trouble coming up with a pitch that a magazine editor will love — or do you have the know-how, but you’re afraid of rejection? In this teleclass, we’ll talk about what makes a good pitch and why you need to forget perfect and get your query out the door now. There will be time for a Q&A at the end. Also, I’ll be making a special offer for conference call attendees only!
Conference number: 218-895-0763
Passcode: 2244#
**This is not a toll-free number. If you have unlimited long distance, you won’t pay for the call, but if you pay for calls by the minute, it will appear on your bill.**
Here is the link where you can access the participant keypad controls. This will tell you how to mute the call, how to get help, and more.
If you’re interested in taking part in the call, please e-mail me at lindaformichelli@gmail.com to let me know just so I can get a rough tally of how many people to expect. I may also e-mail you materials if I decide to have “handouts.” (And if you want to be totally anonymous and not let me know you’ll be attending, that’s fine too.)
Also, if you’d like to receive e-mail announcements whenever I schedule a new class, please subscribe to my e-mail list. I won’t send you spam or share your e-mail address with anyone! This will also make it easier for me to send out class materials en masse.
Thanks so much, and I look forward to seeing you there! [lf]

I’ll be there (have also e-mailed you)
Will you be publishing a transcript for those of us who can’t make that date? I would love to attend but I teach Tuesday eves.
Thanks, Victoria!
Danielle, I’m going to try to remember to make a recording for those who can’t make it. This is my first time doing a teleclass, though, so I may be too discombobulated to press the right buttons. I’ll try my best, though!
