Call for Entries
You are cordially invited to submit entries for consideration in the 2009 North American Travel Journalists Awards Competition
Travel writers, photographers, journalists, CVB’s, DMO’s, public relations firms, broadcast, cable, and Internet content providers whose works emphasize and enhance the travel experience and the travel industry are invited to submit.
The North American Travel Journalists Association (NATJA) award has been in existence for 18 years and has become one of the most prestigious acknowledgments of excellence in the travel industry.
The entry period is October 1st , 2009 – December 15, 2009. All entries must have been distributed in print, internet or a broadcast outlet from October 1, 2008- September 30, 2009.
Judges will be comprised of travel industry professionals, communications professionals as well as professors from journalism and communications departments of Universities.
There will be 3 Grand prize winners from the travel writers and travel photo journalists divisions. Their prizes along with 1st place winners in each category will receive a selection of travel related prizes.
1st Place winners will be announced in all other categories and will receive a NATJA Award. There will also be NATJA awards of merit to the runners up in each category.
Submissions will not be returned and will placed in the NATJA archive.
