Linda's right--the company you're writing for should pay the newspaper/magazine to place it. If the company doesn't know how to do this, tell them to reach out to the sales/marketing departments of the publications in which they want to run the ad. If a company hires you to write an advertorial, they should be responsible for placing it unless they pay you to do so.
