Pay What You Want for the April 9 Write for Magazines E-course*

Ready to kick-start your freelance writing career — or take it to the next level? My next Write for Magazines 8-week e-course starts on Monday, April 9. (The February 27 session is now closed!)

Last session, I experimented with a “Pay What You Want” pricing structure for the Basic version of the e-course with no e-mail support, with a minimum of $30. I usually charge $120, so this is a 75% discount off the usual price. I couldn’t believe what happened: Instead of having just a few people sign up for this version as usual, several dozen writers jumped on board.

Several of these writers e-mailed me to let me know that they couldn’t afford the old price and were thrilled that I was offering this discount. I had no idea so many writers were put off by the $120 price tag! So I’ve decided to continue with the Pay What You Want structure for the Basic version of the e-course.

When you click the Buy Now button on the e-course page, you’ll be able to fill in any price you want, but *I ask that you pay a minimum of $30.

And of course, as always I’m offering the Premium version of the e-course with eight weeks of full e-mail support where I’ll answer your questions and critique your assignments.

Not sure my course is right for you? Well, it is if you want to have success like some of my previous students, who have broken into these magazines with the queries they wrote for my class:

GRIT
E: The Environmental Magazine
Woman’s Day
Spirituality & Health
Black Health
Blue Water Sailing
Pizza Today
Flight Journal
Cottage Living

…and many more!

Please visit the e-course page to get more details, read testimonials, and download the FAQ. If you want e-mail support, don’t wait — I have only 10 spaces in the Premium version, and they go fast. And if you want the Basic version — pay what you want and I’ll see you on April 9th!

I look forward to helping you make your 2012 rock! [lf]

  1. What a wonderful idea, Linda! ;) I’m tempted, I have to admit it. Although I’d rather save up and purchase a Premium version, as being a young Italian writer trying to break through US and UK magazines may turn into a major need for encouragement and assistance (YES, I definitely need the email support!).

My last *big* assignment was a $50 article for Education.com, but I certainly hope to do more and more as I mature my writing skills as well as my English ones. The thought to interviewing by phone really scares me. XD I never get to practice my spoken English enough.
