stickThen submit a stick figure drawing!

One of the contributors in Danny Iny’s book Engagement from Scratch: How Super-Community Builders Create a Loyal Audience and How You Can Do the Same! mentioned in passing the idea of using stick figures as blog images, and the idea — pardon the pun — stuck with me.

I also think this is a great way to showcase my readers and spur fun conversation on the blog.

If you’d like to have your super-cool stick figure featured on the blog, with or without blame — er, credit — email one to me at lindaformichelli@gmail.com. Take a look at the images I’ve used on the blog in the past to get an idea of the kind of images I’ll use in the future. For example, I need a lot of writers looking happy, sad, excited, angry, etc., as well as writers shaking hands, handling money, working, relaxing, — you get the idea. Let your creativity reign!

Let me know if, should I run your stick figure, if and how you’d like to be credited. And feel free to sign your artwork if you like!

Caveat: I can’t guarantee I’ll use your image. But I do look forward to seeing it!

Bring on the stick figures!

  2. This is awesome! I decided to use stick figures and huge green pencils as my blog images to build a brand image. Now I learn that people as awesome as Danny Iny recommend it? It’s always nice to hear I’m accidentally doing things right.
