How to Overcome Fears and Start Claiming the Freelance Career You Want

WEricMartin-scaredfreelancerCarol Tice and I created this 30-minute Skype chat recording on how writers can overcome their fears and claim the freelance career they want. You’ll find a lot of valuable fear-busting tips from two pro writers who have been there, done that!

At the end of the chat, Carol mentions the next session of our 4-Week Journalism School, which is May 8-29. This will be the only fully-supported version of the class we’re running in 2013, so if you’re interested in learning the ins-and-outs of idea generation, article writing, journalism ethics, and more, check out the 4-Week J School page.

If you sign up during early registration this week, there are 7 cool bonuses waiting for you! Carol and I are both going to SOBCon in early May, so we want to have attendance wrapped up before we leave — hence the abundance of bonus material.

Enjoy the chat, and hope to see you at J School!

Thank you so much for this video, ladies! I can’t tell you how much I needed this video, and how much I appreciate it. You are both phenomenal!

  3. I must point out the typo at the end of this blog post…sorry! Change “Email is to me” to “Email it to me”.

    What can I say? I am a perfectionist! :)

  4. I’ll be upfront and say although I have yet to land a gig, journalist style, this class rocks! Anyone coming across this post, and not a Den member or a Den member who has not yet taken the class, should truly read up on it and then sign up.

(Also I saw the is versus it, but figured what the heck lol, the meaning is clear. Now to grab the free download… thanks!)

    To your great success,
